One-word Tagline

Can One word be a tagline of a brand ???
Some says--- One word can obviously be a tagline ! (Because it is easy to remember)

While other says---One word is far too open to interpretation.


Perhaps if a brand has the budget to inundate us with enough messages that it successfully interprets for us what the company means to express with that one word, maybe then one word can become a tagline over a period of  time. But the important formula is it should reflect the company's personality in it.

Some of the brands which have a single word or one word tagline are as follows. And mind it they are really successful in their industry and leader also.

Visa- Go

Mahindra- Rise

HP- Invent

Bindass- Restless

(Bindass is a Tv channel of India with youth centric content)

Star Sports-Believe

After Bindass channel star sports also has came with the new tagline "Believe"

Lakme- Reinvent

3M- Innovation

Nissan- Shift_  
Now Nissan has a new tagline- Innovation That Excites.

We would suggest if you have the power to spend a whole lot of amount with a tagline that showcase your brand then go for it.
