Volkswagen Passat- Luxury You cant give up.

One of the best advertisement I have seen is that of Volkswagen Passat with the catch phrase, Luxury You cant give up.
The ad is a attempt to impress the luxury seeking people with the theme of The monk who sold his Ferrari. The advertisement tries to convey the message that this is one of those luxury which you wont be able to give up.



The advertisement is really shot beautifully according to the theme. The location and the shoot is just superb.


The ad takes small things into consideration like a Monk from Mumbai, Maharashtra ( From the number plate)   is coming to Ladakh or the Himalayas for his self actualization but still could not resist from bringing his Passat.

When the monk gets out from his car it is the revelation of the ad. This scene is so well shot.

If one will not mention the music than it would be unfair. The music take the ads to another level.

The ad is simply superb. watch the ad in the blog.

The storyboard of the ad is very creative with a little inspiration from Vicky Kaushal & Kiara Advani's Lust Stories
How Kiara is glued to her smartphone and searching something and Vicky Kaushal's insecurity and the final revelation along with the quirky music make the advertisement a class apart.

The storyline of the advertisement is aimed at the young audience who differ the home search for various reason. Vella Raja webseries with great built up and a very bad dragged ending

Vella Raja is a Tamil web series streaming on Amazon prime Video India from 7th December. The webseries has total 10 episodes they are.

The Collision
The Weave
The Awakening
The Quicksand
The Calling



The webseries has a very good set up with a really wasted closing. The story built up nicely with the characters meeting at the Bawa Lodge and some how after the 8th episode the 9th and 10th episode is just a drag with illogical happenings and bad direction in a sense. Till the 7th episode of Vella Raja, one will be hooked to the webseries with superb acting from all the starcasts,  An advocate fighting for proper judgment to shut down the corrupt industry, two struggling villagers who are trying their luck, a doctor and his loneliness and an ambitious PT teacher who plans to arrange money to build the unsteady school building by sending students to a reality show all the characters are intertwined properly but after 8th its difficult to tolerate some of the stars like Theresa who is eating chicken leg pieces while the inspector is pleading for help and her long glares with out any action and long pauses of Theresa the police inspector. 

Vella Raja is also the first Tamil Amazon Original web series which also has been dubbed in both Hindi and Tamil languages.


Overall good webseries with good and innovative content but the ending is really bad and dragged long for the closing.

My Rating 6.5

If there was a good ending it had the potential to be a top notch webseries.
