Nescafe ad- Stand up Comedy #ItAllStarts

Nescafe has created a wonderful ad to promote its flagship coffee brand. The theme of the advertisement is "Lets get started"

The ad revolves around Rishi a stand up comedian who stammers, how people cracked joke at him how his family looked a this stammering and how he evolved all the story has been told in 2 minutes.


The music is so soothing and appropriate for the ad.



The ad script is as follows.

The biggest st.. st... strength of a st... st... stammering comedian is
ssss. suspense

(laugh)

But not every audience is as pa... pa... patient as you.

I get st... st... stuck
They move on.
Sss.... sorry sir.

My fa... family used to say, tell us a joke quickly.

N... Now they say f... forget the joke, just tell quickly
(laugh)

But I am also st... st... stubborn.
wont leave without telling my joke.

Schmitten Luxury Chocolates Advertisement.



Priyanka Chopra has been roped by Rajhans (Desai-Jain) Group to promote their ‘Luxury Chocolates’ brand Schmitten. The Rajhans (Desai-Jain) Group want to bring the best of Swiss chocolate to India, through Schmitten.

A TV commercial has been done by Publicis team to promote the brand.

The advertsement is set in the style of a Broadway musical. In he advertisement Priyanka Chopra eluding those trying to pry her Schmitten. Priyanka sings, that her chocolate is hers and not to share.

The advertisement has properly shown the tagline, where a bevy of cars give way to the CIAZ when they see its approaching from behind. The ad is nicely shoot and music is perfect.

Twitter and Social Media Contest in India – The Real Picture

Now in order to trend in social media a lot of brands are conducting contest in Twitter to promote their hashtag. But what I have observed some people (may be from the digital agency itself ) won the prizes. They tweet about hundred and more tweets in 3-4 hour.  There are a handful of contestants winning in various tweet contest may be a testimony to that.

I would love to share their details, But privacy is a big reason for non-disclosure.
If you see a winners name starting with @cmd....... or @swat....... @imbe.... then chances are that you can guess it right.

Does Brand benefits ? Does the hashtag really helps  ?
The answer is No. If  5 people send 800 tweets mentioning your #tag and another 300 people with 400 #tags.
Your total comes to around 1200 hashtags but those 800 have a very low impact coz it will not reach others through the social media effect.

Now brands have to decide whether they want to give the prize to those 5 or among those 33 who are genuine.


But I have seen some contest where quality tweets are considered not the 5 odd people who only participate to win for the prizes.
