Ajay Devgn the ad King in IPL.

For those who are a big fan of IPL, they must be witnessing the advertisement war between different brands. In one hand three Chinese phone makers are aggressively using the IPL platform to advertise their smartphones, They are title sponsor VIVO,  Oppo and Gionee endorsed by Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt respectively.

But brands endorsed by another actor has started dominating the IPL ad platform, he is none other than Shivaay: Ajay Devgn.

The brands endorsed by the versatile actor Ajay Devgn during this IPL 10 are as follows

VKC pride- In this ad Ajay Devgan is the Angy police inspector. He is getting complaints from people who have gone to pond for a bath or saali in shaadi that their shoes (chappals) has been stolen. He went to temple to seek blessings of God and his shoes are also stolen and it comes to notice that all the chappals are VKC Pride brand and he cheekily advises to be careful.

Amul Comfy- In this ad Ajay Devgn is accompanied by the talented actor Makrand Deshpande. 


The theme of the ad is a Ghost story, the ghost role has been played by Makrand Deshpande and Ajay Devgn is the cool man who has no fear and in the ad the secret he shares is Amul Comfy lamba tikegi.

Vimal Pan Masala among the three ads I like  the Vimal Pan Masala ad the most because of the coll music and its all India appeal from Kerala to Rajasthan, from north east to Kolkata, From Agra to Mumbai. In this advertisement Ajay Devgan has created a two finger salute with various people which seems very nice.

Parle- ‘Naam Toh Suna hi Hoga’

In this 10th edition of IPL Parle is advertising heavily on brand building. Although Parle has a plethora of biscuits under its umbrella but people associate parle with Parle-G. To overcome this challenge Parle's agency Taproot Dentsu have created the campaign around this idea to showcase various parle biscuits ad associating these biscuits with the parent brand parle.

There are total 4 commercials till date

Ad 1 School principal calling the parents of a children and regretting that her son fought with other students in the school. In response in stead of regretting his son's mischieves she remarks that she is also surprised that the principal does not know that Parle makes both salty Monaco and sweet chocolaty happy happy. And the ad ends with Naam toh Suna hi hoga.

Ad 2 The friendzoned guy  with disbelief and surprise states that she loves another guy and in reply the girl answers that she is also surprised that the guy does not know that Parl makes crack jack and 


Ad 3 In the office Mr. Mukherjee blames that  something was not expected from Mr. Banerjee. in reply Mr. banerjee says he was also not expecting that he should know about various brands which are made by parle

Durex Jeans ad- Ranveer Singh & Sobhita Dhulipala

On 22nd march Ranveer Singh tweeted this
Durex is launching Jeans! Designed for the passionate! Fits well ;)


Even in some of the magazine and newspaper articles Durex India team informed that Durex is launching a new jeans brand. It seemed a good brand extension into a new product lie and the urban youth was looking forward to some  cool jeans from the contraceptive giant.

On 24 th march 2017 Ranveer Singh tweeted about the launch with the following tweet
Pocket mein Rocket 🚀

and it came out as its a new pack of condom not the jeans.



In the advertisement Ranveer Singh is being seen as in the house testing various furnitures, bathtubs and even the roof top very animatedly.










The Door rangs and there is super hot girl( ex miss India Sobhita Dhulipala) in a low waist torn jeans and short black top collecting her makeup materials and durex jeans condoms lying on the floor.



The voiceover says India's slimmest pack, now fits in very pocket.

IPL 10 advertisements : brand endorsed by Deepika Padukone

Brand endorsed by  Deepika Padukone which are having a mark in IPL 10.

In this tenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) Deepika Padukone one of the Bollywood's highest paid actress is not far behind in this IPL advertisement season. In this edition where most of the ad slots have been sold before hand where his rumored partner Ranveer Singh and the young versatile actress Alia Bhatt is dominating the advertisement air time, But Deepika Padukone is also having her formidable ad slots with two big names Oppo and Goibibo.

Oppo mobile is in a fierce battle with its compatriot brand Vivo, these two brand are fighting fiercely to woo the Indian consumer. Both these brands are focusing on the superior selfie feature of the phone. While IPL title sponsor VIVO has Ranveer Singh to promote its smartphone, Oppo has roped in Beautiful Deepika Padukone to promote its smartphone where she is taking selfie with a bunch of friends with its dual front cameras.



On the other ad Deepika is promoting goibibo and how adding one's contacts list one can get the benefits of gocash for every bookings by the friends.

IPL 10 is already a hit if one goes by the ad slot sales figures. As per reports most of the ad slots of Sony Max have been sold and some slot has been reserved for spot buy, needless to say to at a higher price.

After a week of IPL 10 two superstars have dominated the advertisement charts of IPL, they are none other than versatile and bubbly actress Alia Bhatt and  super energetic Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh is the brand ambassador of "VIVO"  the title sponsor of IPL 10. In this ad Ranveer Singh is being seen as taking selfie with the vivo phones to win back and propose Leslie Cordoba whom he meets at Budapest.


Alia Bhatt on the other hand has Gionee smartphone which is promoting this time on the theme of Selfistan.


Alia Bhatt has Frooty Fizz to her kitty where she is having the complete screen presence. The ad is aimed at the youth, after the appy fizz with Priyanka Chopra Parle Agro has roped in Alia Bhatt to endorse the Frooty Fizz brand to target the youth segments.


Alia Bhatt has another brand Standard electricals (a brand of Havells) where Standard is promoting as Build for Young energy.



Their dominance can be summed up with the makemytrip ad where both are sharing the screenspace to promote the makemytrip hotel booking advantages.

IPL X Day 1 Advertisements

So IPL X started with a bang with the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore at at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.

In this blog we will cover about the Day 1 ads which stand out among the plethora of brands advertising in IPL.


1. PolyCabs- Polycabs has embraced a new theme this IPL with Paresh Rawal the brand ambassador using the local dialect and English language to target to the audience. I Guess The ads will use the language of the two teams who are playing the match e.g in the first match Telugu and Kannada might be used. 


2. Vodafone- IPL is incomplete without the Vodafone ads especially Vodafone Zoozoos. In this 10th edition of IPL in the day one advertisements Vodafone is giving tributes. this time in stead of showcasing any of their service like high speed internet or other facilities on day one advertisements Vodafone gave tribute to cricket by a campaign celebrating 10 years of run outs, and celebrating 10 years of huddle.





3. Frooty Fizz- Frooty Fizz has roped in Alia Bhat to promote its latest launch Frooty Fizz. the bubblyness of Frooty Fizz has been compared to that of Alia Bhatt. And it is definitely grabbing the attention of the viewers.





4. Oppo Smartphone- Oppo smartphone which lost the title sponsorship of IPL 10 to Vivo has roped in Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone. Like its previous campaign featuring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor its promoting the smartphone as a selfie expert. In the ads. Deepika is taking cool selfie of her as well their group with two front cameras.




5.  Vivo Smartphone- The other ads which also have an impact is title sponsor VIVO with its dependable brand ambassador Ranveer Singh, Like Oppo, Vivo is also emphasising on selfie theme where Ranveer Singh is taking smart selfie to win over his girlfriend.






6. Parle Biscuits- with the new theme Naam to Suna hi hoga, how parle is making a plethora of biscuits from salty to buttry to 20-20 and 50-50


7. Amazon India- from last years iconic campaign aur dikhao aur dikhao to latest campaign ye hai apni dukaan Amazon has created some of the memorable ads. This IPL ten amazon has shown how a local cricket team with having only white dresses relies on Apni dukaan Amazon to buy cricket eqquipments and prepare for their path of glory and from  plain white test team to become colourful Chonkpur Cheetah. Aptfully amazon has showcased this IPL as India ki Sapnon ki Apni Dukaan.

McDonald Twitter and Anti-Trump Tweet and the ensuing response

On 16th March 2016 At 9:16 a.m., the @McDonaldsCorp account tweets at the president: "You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.




This tweet was later deleted and McDonalds came up with the following response in its twitter handled. It blamed the above tweet to hackers.

As Usual after these tweets both Trump haters and Trump supporters made the twitter handle famous with their tweet-war.

The Trump supporter asked Mcdonald's  to apologise to Trump or else they wont eat from Mcdonald and the Trump haters asked Mcdonald's to put up the tweet and thy will eat more.

But the airline took it as a compliment and replied

#MagicOfwarmth makes life beautiful



Desmond Tutu once told "You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them." This holds true for every person. The family's love, affection and warmth make life beautiful. Every member of the family goes through a difficult phase in life and I have found out that the other members stood rock solid like a pillar in those turbulent times. Those support, those moments are the Magic of warmth.

In my career I was stuck in a bad phase. There was long working hours, very less time for me and family add the distance from home which made it more difficult. There were days when I just worked ate and slept. Life was very mundane with nothing to look forward to. The pressure of the work, no value addition to career front was kind of dragging me into depression. I was cut off from my friends, colleagues and surprisingly from m family. There were days when I ignored calls from my family members. I started to getting irritated. Disconnected calls in between. kept the phone out of reach or switched off. i was kind of becoming a reclusive person. This was till date my worst phase in life. 

As I said earlier in those dark moments, lonely moments what a man need is Love, Affection and that little warmth. My parents stood rock solid behind me in those time. Although I ignored their calls, got irritated but my parents never stop trying and believing me. Their perseverance and continuous effort was always there. I can still recollect that day when they surprisingly came to the place where I was working which is a 5 hour drive from my hometown. They gave me confidence that If i try I will definitely get a better job where I will be satisfied. They are a firm believer of the statement of Jim Rohn that "Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present."  The small talk and their effort really helped me in clearing my mind and it increased the confidence. I again started believing me and by next week I met the Zonal manager of my company and gave the notice period and finally after one odd month left the job. In the meantime I applied for other jobs and luckily with God's grace and parents blessing land in a good job within months. This was the Magic of Warmth for me and it will be imprinted in my memory forever.
